- Be respectful. Do not harass, bully, threaten, or demean other users. Hate speech, discrimination, and targeted harassment are not allowed.
- Keep it legal. Do not share, request, or engage in illegal content or activity. This includes non-consensual content, exploitation, and anything that violates applicable laws.
- Adult-only platform. You must be 18+ to use OmeChat. Do not share content involving minors or anyone who appears to be underage. If you suspect a user is under 18, disconnect and report.
- No nudity or sexual content. Explicit sexual content, nudity, or sexual conduct is not allowed, especially on video. Keep conversations and visuals clean.
- Protect your privacy. Do not share personal information such as full name, address, phone number, passwords, financial info, or account credentials. Avoid off-platform contact with strangers.
- No spam or scams. Do not advertise, solicit money, or promote services, links, or downloads. Phishing, malware, or deceptive practices will lead to bans.
- Keep video authentic. Do not intentionally show a black screen, static image, prerecorded content, or misleading camera feed in video chat. If your camera is not working, say so or switch to text chat instead.
- Respect boundaries and consent. If someone asks you to stop, stop. Disconnect if a chat becomes uncomfortable. Do not record, screenshot, or share conversations or video without explicit consent. Other users may still record externally, so avoid sharing anything you would not want copied.
- Use interests responsibly. When using interests to match, avoid misleading tags. Don’t misrepresent your identity or intent.
- Report issues. Use the report feature to flag suspected underage users, nudity or sexual content, harassment, spam, black or static video, or impersonation and misleading feeds. Provide a brief reason and any context. Repeated or severe violations may result in restrictions or bans.
- Local laws apply. You’re responsible for complying with the laws and regulations in your location.
These guidelines are enforced through automated systems and human moderation. OmeChat may restrict, suspend, or ban accounts at its discretion to protect the community. Serious enforcement should be reviewable where practical.
